Dipon Gas Co. Ltd., has won the prestigious and coveted International Star Award for Quality at a glittering function held at Geneva, Switzeland on 26th October ,2009. The Director (Operations) & CEO of the Company, Engr. Rashed Mahmud, received the award consisting of a crest and a certificate. Companies from 48 countries around the globe were nominated for this award , which esentially is considered a quality roadmap and a valuable framework for all organisations to measure their performance and to achieve higher standards through leadership , innovation and improvement . The performance of all organisations were measured against strict parameters ; hence it is a matter of pride that DGCL was the only company from Bangladesh to walk away with the honours.
